Africa
Although Africa cannot look back on a long tea tradition like Asia, this large continent shows itself by its unique variety of teas with distinct characters.
Apart from the traditional South African teas such as rooisbos and honeybush, tea experts especially value the black teas.
The tea made in Kenya e.g. is almost solely produced by using the CTC method. These teas are best discribed with a coloury cup and a strong aromatic flavour.
