While dealing with food products, product safety is the key element for a respectful and reliable cooperation with our customers.
Our quality management is a fixed, permanent principle undermining the effort to deliver high standard quality tea to our customers at all times.
The import as well as the export of tea and tea infusions take place under the fulfillment of the currently valid European regulations for food safety.
Traceability & ecology
We maintain a reliable and close relationship with the tea producers in the countries of origin and visit regularly the tea gardens. Hereby we focus on the observance for product safety such as HACCP and other certification requirements in the production areas.
In line with our supplier management we are able to guarantee a traceability for our products at any time.
Additionally we support and encourage agricultural business and farms in using ecological and sustainable cultivation methods and business processes.
Analysis
We keep an eye on our products from the purchase till the final product is ready for dispatch. Incoming goods are visually and sensorily checked by trained staff within the quality control scheme.
Our raw materials are checked for pesticides, herbicides, microbiology and other product related prameters by specialised laboratory institutes in Germany.
Audits and certification measurements
Due to regular audits and certification measurements, e.g. Organic, Fairtrade and Rainforest, our internal and external processes are constantly reviewed and updated. Our comprehensive quality control is confirmed by worldwide recognised certificates. We are IFS Food and IFS Broker certified.

Our profound tea expertise is supported by the constant exchange with other tea experts, professional associations as well as with selected institutions. This close network with partners and tea experts is an essential part of today’s tea trade.
