China is wordwide the largest tea producer. Approximately 3.5 million tons of tea are being produced in the growing areas which are located in the south of the country. They are stretching from the mountains down to the coast. Green, white, red and yellow teas are produced, whereas each province charactarizes itself with its specialities.
