Indonesia
Besides the production of black tea, Indonesia also produces green teas. This is usually done by using the orthodox production method.
Meanwhile Indonesia emerged to the fifth largest tea exporting country worldwide. In 2019 Indonesia produced approximately 129 thousand tons of tea. From all of the 17.500 Indonesian islands most of the tea estates are locacted on Java and Sumatra.
